Phillips Hue
The Problem: People take lighting and its effects for granted.
The Insight: Since its invention, the light bulb has taken on the very important role of illuminating our way.
I wanted to show how light can also be used to alter our feelings.
The Solution:
Create consumers that allows people to experience hue lights outside of their homes.
PHASE I : LAUNCH HUE LIGHTS X AIR B N B
Hue Lights will work with Air B N B, giving guests the ability to book a stay
at a property fully equipped with Hue Lights.
PHASE II : FIGHT FOR THE LIGHTS
Fight for the lights will allow audiences at sporting events and venues to engage by
controlling big screens and jumbotrons. Fans will join in using hashtags to
have their team colors take over the venue.
PHASE III: BRING IT HOME HUE LIGHTS X THE OLYMPICS
Introducing Bring it Home
An activation of lights inviting the community to join and celebrate the Nation together.
Structures are fitted with Hue Lights that are activated by using hashtags during competitions.
Each hashtag is associated with a color from the flag.
Background: I enjoyed finding ways to meet consumers where they are.
